The Marmonix MCA-212 is a 1200 A AC/DC True RMS clamp meter for electricians and maintenance engineers who need to read heavy feeder, motor, solar and battery currents without breaking the circuit. It adds a full multimeter on the same tool: 1000 V DC / 750 V AC, 60 MΩ, 9.999 mF capacitance, 9.999 MHz frequency, duty cycle, µA current and Type-K temperature to 1000 °C, all on a backlit 6000-count display and rated CAT IV 600 V.

How to measure current with the MCA-212
- Turn the rotary switch to AC/DC Current (A) and press SELECT to choose AC or DC.
- Press the jaw release and close the jaws around one conductor, centred in the jaws.
- Read the current; use HOLD or MAX/MIN while the load cycles.
- For voltage, resistance or temperature, plug the leads into COM and VΩHz and select the function.

Does the MCA-212 measure DC current?
Yes. It clamps both AC and DC current up to 1200 A (60 A / 600 A / 1200 A ranges, ±(2.0% + 30)), so it suits solar PV strings, battery banks, UPS and DC drives as well as AC feeders.
Is the MCA-212 True RMS?
Yes. True RMS gives correct AC readings on distorted waveforms from VFDs, LED drivers, UPS and other non-linear loads.
What safety category is the MCA-212 rated for?
The meter is marked CAT IV 600 V, which covers work at the origin of the installation, such as main distribution boards, within 600 V.
Can it measure small currents such as a 4–20 mA loop?
Yes, through the test leads. The µA input reads up to 6000 µA AC/DC at ±(1.2% + 3) DC. For a full 4–20 mA loop, a meter with a mA range such as the MMU-112 is the better choice.
What battery does it use and what is in the box?
One 9 V (6F22) battery. The box includes the MCA-212, premium test leads, carrying case, Type-K thermocouple, 9 V battery, user manual, certificate of conformity and warranty card.
What warranty does it have, and do you deliver in the UAE and GCC?
