When you need a power quality analyzer
Use one for energy audits, nuisance RCD or breaker trips, overheating neutrals, flickering lights, and harmonic checks on drives, UPS systems and LED lighting. For quick current checks, a clamp meter or digital multimeter may be enough. A power quality analyzer records the events those meters miss.

Power quality analyzer FAQ
What does a power quality analyzer measure?
It records voltage, current, power, energy, power factor, harmonics, flicker and transient events on single-phase or three-phase supplies over time. That shows problems a spot reading with a multimeter or clamp meter cannot catch.

Which wiring systems does the MPQ400 Pro support?
Single-phase, split-phase, 3-phase 3-wire, 3-phase 4-wire and 3-phase 5-wire, using five voltage sockets and four current inputs so the neutral current is measured too. Its manual rates it CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V.

Which current clamps can I use?
The MPQ400 Pro works with the 008B (10 mA–10 A), 040B (0.10–100 A) and 068B (1.0–1000 A) clamp sensors and the 300F flexible coil. Sensors are optional, so tell us which set you need when you ask for a quote.

Do you supply power quality analyzers across the GCC?
Yes. Marmonix supplies power quality analyzers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and the wider GCC. Contact us for a quote or help choosing sensors.
