Marmonix MRL-3100 Radar Level Transmitter
This series of radar level meter Marmonix MRL-3100 adopted 26G high frequency radar sensor, the maximum measurement range can reach up to 70 meters.
The Marmonix MRL-3100 radar level transmitter measures corrosive liquid without touching it. A 26 GHz pulse leaves the antenna, reflects off the liquid surface, and returns as a level reading. The specification table lists a 10 m range and ±5 mm precision.
If you are measuring solids or a dusty silo instead, see the MRL-3300. The rest of the range is under level transmitters.
What the MRL-3100 radar level transmitter gives you
What the MRL-3100 gives you on the vessel:
- 10 m measuring range at ±5 mm, on a 26 GHz radar
- Non-contact antenna, so the sensor stays out of the corrosive liquid
- 4–20 mA/HART (two-wire or four-wire) and RS485/Modbus
- Four-digit LCD on an aluminum housing, IP67
- Exia IIC T6 Ga, process −40°C to 120°C, pressure −0.1 to 0.3 MPa
- Thread connection, with an optional flange

Questions about the MRL-3100
How far does the MRL-3100 measure?
The specification table lists 10 meters, at ±5 mm, using a 26 GHz radar.
Can the MRL-3100 sit in the liquid?
No. It is a non-contact radar. The antenna sends the pulse down to the surface and reads the echo.
Which outputs does the MRL-3100 include?
The table lists (4–20) mA/HART, two-wire or four-wire, and RS485/Modbus, with a four-digit LCD.
